Dear colleagues,

Columbus organizes a Web conference on September 21st, in English, in which Andrée Sursock, Senior Adviser at EUA (European Universities Association, composed by 850 European universities/ 17 million registered students), will talk about the findings of Trends 2015 report.

The results confirm the pre-eminence of both quality assurance and internationalization as key factors. Thus, 92% of institutions state that internationalization has contributed to improving the quality of learning and teaching, notably through the mobility of students and staff, as well as international collaboration. Regarding cooperation with Latin America, 31% of the responding universities state their interest in the region. The use of ICT has become the third ranked priority for Higher Education institutions. Investments in ITC are increasing in order to offer more blended learning. For detailed information please access the full Trends 2015 paper.
