UNESCO is organizing the 2023 Future Designer International Innovation Design Awards (IIDA) & Science for SDGs Innovation Contest.
The IIDA Contest aims to showcase and promote innovative and sustainable designs and proposals from talented young individuals all around the world. The primary focus is to support and raise awareness of the importance of Science in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to build more equitable and resilient societies.
All aspiring young designers and innovators are invited to participate. The call is open to junior college, undergraduate and graduate students. The IIDA call for applications is now open, and must be received by 30 September 2023. Eligible applications will be reviewed by the international IIDA jury, which consists of renowned professors and industry experts. The winners will be announced on 31 October 2023, and their achievements will be celebrated at an in-person award ceremony to be held at the end of the year.
